Creative commons license allows others to copy and distribute the works under specific conditions. But that thing is it should not be used for commercial purposes. There are some creative common licenses and let us discuss them one by one.

Let others use content globally without restrictions.

 

CC BY

 

This license lets others to distribute, tweak and build up on the work even commercially also. It is the maximum recommended way of Creative commons license materials.

 

CC BY SA 

 

It is attribution-share alike.  This license lets others distribute, tweak and build up on the work even commercially But there are under some restrictions. This license is used by Wikipedia.

 

CC BY ND

 

It is an attribution with no derives. This license allows for redistribution commercially and non-commercially. 

 

CC BY NC

 

Attribution non-commercial. This license lets others remix, tweak and build up on the work non-commercially.

 

CC BY NC SA

 

Attribution non-commercial share alike. This license lets others remix, tweak and build up on the work non-commercially as long as they credit you and license their new creations under some identical terms.

 

CC BY NC ND

 

Attribution non-commercial no derives. This is the most restricted one while comparing others it allows others to download the content as long as they credit you and share with others but could not change it.
